At last year's Disney D23 Expo in Anaheim, California the various costume incarnations of Mary Poppins were magically exhibited together, from the Broadway musical (worn by the likes of Ashley Brown, Scarlett Strallen and Laura Michelle Kelley) to Julie Andrews 1964 original and Emily Blunt's 2018 sequel, Mary Poppins Returns.

This trio of costumes worn by the magical British nanny inspired by the books of P. L. Travers were photographed on August 23, 2019, as part of the Walt Disney Archives Heroes & Villains: The Art of the Disney Costume exhibition.

Bob Crowley was the designer of the Broadway costume worn from 2006 to 2013, whilst Tony Walton and Bill Thomas were Costume Designers on Julie Andrews film and Sandy Powell was Costume Designer on the big screen sequel.

In Mary Poppins Returns Emily Blunt plays the magical nanny and takes 'Anabel', 'John' and 'Georgie Banks' on several fantastical singing and dancing adventures, including into their bubbly bath for and an oceanic adventure with dolphins, sunken pirate ships and bathtub boats in scenes with the the original song, "Can You Imagine That?".

These Edwardian-inspired swimwear costumes for 'Mary Poppins' and the 'Banks' children's adventures at bathtime were photographed at Hollywood's El Capitan Theatre on January 4, 2019.

There was the kite that Mary Poppins arrives on, Georgie Bank's 'Gillie' giraffe toy, the Royal Doulton Bowl where they travel to for a cartoon animal adventure, Colin Firth's bank manger pocket watch and more integral items besides.
