TV and movie costumes on display from the Walt Disney Archives...

At the very end of 2011, I was fortunate to pop onto the Disney Studio lot in Burbank, California to check out the latest costumes on display from the Walt Disney Archives.

Original TV and movie treasures from the Walt Disney Archives

Included in the exhibit in the lobby of the Frank G. Wells building on December 30, were outfits featured in popular ABC television shows and Disney films.

I've previously seen some of the other costumes on display at Disney's D23 Expo, but it was nice to get a closer look at them again, plus see some new additions I'd never glimpsed before in person.

When Penny Chenery hired his son, 'Roger Laurin', to train and manage her stables, he helped return her business to profitability by cutting costs before moving on to work elsewhere. As an interim measure he suggested his retired father, Lucien, may help out temporarily at Meadow Stables in his place. And the rest as they say is racehorse history.
