Jacqueline Durran was Oscar nominated for her work on the film directed by Bill Condon and you can see more of her costume designs from Beauty and the Beast on display around the film's theatrical release.

In the musical romantic fantasy film, Luke Evans seemed to relish playing the narcissistic and arrogant hunter and veteran of the French Royal Army.

Fantastical Fashions at Disney's D23 Expo 2017 - Part two...
As well as looking forward to future films, TV shows, toys, games and theme park attractions, Disney was also celebrating the past at this year's D23 Expo in Anaheim, California on July 14, 2017, with a fabulous collection of Fantastical Fashions from classic and recent live-action movies.

In addition to original Maleficent, Red Queen and Cruella de Vil costumes, the Disney Archives exhibit also had 'Belle's' yellow dress from 2017's Beauty and the Beast, 2015's 'Cinderella' ballgown and 'Giselle's' wedding dress from 2007's Enchanted.

2007's Enchanted lovingly spoofed Disney's fairytale princesses and saw Amy Adam's 'Giselle' magically transported form her animated world to real life New York City wearing this fabulously over-the-top fairytale wedding dress.Fans of the romantic comedy directed by Kevin Lima can also check out these other cool film costumes from Enchanted designed by Mona May on display, whilst admirers of Amy Adams can also check out these other movie costumes worn by the actress in recent years in films such as American Hustle, Nocturnal Animals, Julie & Julia, Batman v Superman and more besides.

Lumiere, Plumette and Cogswoth movie costumes from Disney's Beauty and the Beast display...
In recent years Disney has successfully translated some of its animated classics to the big screen with Cinderella, Maleficent and The Jungle Book, and next it's the turn of Beauty and the Beast to get the live-action fairytale reimagining with Emma Watson playing 'Belle' who falls in love with and rescues Dan Stevens cursed prince 'Beast'.

Yesterday I shared with you Costume Designer Jacqueline Durrant's Belle and the Beast live-action movie costumes and today it's time to shine a spotlight on the 18th century inspired costumes of popular supporting characters like 'Lumière', 'Plumette' and Cogsworth'.

In addition to the human character costumes this exhibit at ArcLight Pasadena cinema on December 21, 2016, also had their prop counterparts, with Sarah Greenwood being Production Designer of the lavish sets and look of this live-action spectacle.

In the live-action movie Ewan McGregor voices the friendly CGI candelabra servant of the enchanted Beast who was once human and was similarly cursed.in Beauty and the Beast

In 1991's animated classic Lumière's girlfriend was called 'Fifi', but in this live-action remake the flirtatious feather duster is called 'Plumette' and is played by Gugu Mbatha-Raw.

In the new movie directed by Bill Condon, Ian McKellen voices and plays the enchanted timepiece 'Cogsworth', and it was fun to see this ornate clock prop on display alongside the costume.Fans of the acclaimed actor can also check out his Gandalf costume from The Hobbit movies on display.
