In 2023's musical fantasy, Wonka, Timothée Chalamet plays a young magician, inventor and chocolatier named 'Willy Wonka' who has a hatful of dreams and handful of coins to his name who arrives in Europe to establish his unique chocolate at The Galéries Gourmet. Tricked into working at a boarding house launderette when he signs a contract he can't read, he meets an orphan girl named 'Noodle' (Calah Lane) and other indentured captives who help him to escape and achieve his dreams of having a chocolate store, taking on a Chocolate Cartel led by corrupt businessman 'Arthur Slugworth'.

Lindy Hemming is Costume Designer on this origin story directed by Paul King and this trio of screen-worn costumes were photographed on display at Downtown L.A.'s ASU FIDM Museum on March 5, 2024.

Anthony Brookman, Charlotte Child, Rosie Grant, Joanne Lees and Nat Turner were Assistant Costume Designers, with Brendan Handscombe Costume Supervisor.

The Little Mermaid live-action movie costumes on display...

In 2023's live-action reimagining of Disney's classic 1989 animated version of The Little Mermaid, Halle Bailey plays 'Ariel' in the musical romantic fantasy. Based on Hans Christian Andersen's Danish fairytale of the same name, the curious and headstrong mermaid princess Ariel who is fascinated with the human world saves 'Prince Eric' (Jonah Hauer-King) from a shipwreck and makes a deal with the sea witch 'Ursula' (played by Melissa McCarthy) to walk on land and follow her heart and dreams. In the film Jessica Alexander plays a human alter-ego of Ursula named 'Vanessa', as part of her scheming to steal the undersea Atlantica throne from Ariel's father 'King Triton' (Javier Bardem).

Twenty-nine years after the original, the 'Sanderson Sisters' are back in the Disney+ sequel, Hocus Pocus 2. Three young women accidentally resurrect the child-hungry witches in modern day Salem and they must figure out how to deal with the sinister sisters before they wreak havoc. Bette Midler reprises her role as their defacto leader 'Winifred Sanderson', Kathy Najimy returns as 'Mary Sanderson' and Sarah Jessica Parker is back as 'Sarah Sanderson'.
