My picture car roundup proved quite popular last year, so I thought I'd repeat the idea with a collection of motorcycles and sidecars from the big screen. These ten screen-featured gems are from the action, superhero, fantasy and sci-fi genres and captured at theme parks, cinemas and museums over the past decade and more. Full disclosure, I'm not a motorcycle expert, so please don't shout or send any toxic comments as all I'm doing is sharing the photos and descriptions of the bikes that accompanied the exhibits for your enjoyment.

Canopic Jar and chest props from The Mummy movies...
In The Mummy movie franchise these Egyptian Canopic Jars housed the preserved organs of Anck-Su-Namun, High Priest Imhotep's lover who he wants to resurrect.

These jar and chest props featured in the fantasy-adventure movies were photographed on display at Universal Studios Hollywood on April 26, 2012.

Canopic Jars like these were used by the Ancient Egyptians during the mummification process and each jar contained a specific organ which were placed inside a chest. The jar with the jackal-headed god 'Duamatef' was meant for the stomach, whilst the baboon-headed jar of the god 'Hapi' held the lungs. In the movies there were five jars featured, whilst apparently in real-life there were only four types of jars and no lion-headed ones. I can certainly forgive any factual inaccuracies, as it is a fun fantasy movie after all.
