John Candy's costume from The Blues Brothers on display...

I grew up watching and laughing at the antics of John Candy in films like Uncle Buck, Spaceballs and Planes, Trains & Automobiles, so it was cool to see one of the outfits the Canadian comedian wore in The Blues Brothers on display at Universal Studios Hollywood on November 30, 2011.

James Brown's preacher robes from The Blue Brothers...

In 1980's cult comedy classic The Blues Brothers, John Belushi and Dan Akyroyd play brothers who embark on 'a mission from God' to reunite their rhythm and blues band in order to save the Catholic orphanage where they grew up. The 'Godfather of Soul', James Brown, plays an Evangelical preacher, 'Reverend Cleophus James', in one of the memorable gospel music and dance scenes in the movie.

The Blues Brothers Bluesmobile...

This movie car on display at Universal Studios Hollywood is one of apparently thirteen different cars used for the 'Bluesmobile' in director John Landis' 1980 musical comedy The Blues Brothers.

This 1974 Dodge Monaco sedan was one of several former police vehicles purchased from the California Highway Patrol and designed to resemble ex-Mount Prospect Illinois patrol cars.

In the cult favourite film featuring John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd, the seemingly magic 'Bluesmobile' was used in chase scenes and stunts, jumping over drawbridges, flipping backwards and even 'flying'.
