Screen-used Marvel Cinematic Universe movie props on display...

In addition to a smorgasbord of costumes from Avengers: Endgame on display during its theatrical release, Hollywood's El Capitan Theatre also had an exhibit of selected screen-used props to pay homage to the last ten years and twenty-two films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In the cinema's foyer along Hollywood Boulevard on May 1, 2019, there was the damaged Iron Man Mark 50 helmet from Avengers: Endgame in the spotlight, with the eye socket illuminated. In the movie Robert Downey Jr.'s 'Tony Stark' records what he think are his dying words into the helmet when he's floating in space.

Downstairs at the cinema there was a treasure trove of other film props on display, like the Eye of Agamotto from Doctor Strange, which is also featured in Avengers: Endgame, worn by the Master of the Mystic Arts himself (played by Benedict Cumberbatch) and the Ancient One (Tilda Swinton).

Fans of the Sorcerer Supreme can also check out all these screen-worn movie costumes from Doctor Strange on display.

Star-Lord's mask from 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy

Chris Pratt's 'Star-Lord' mask from the first GOTG movie was also featured in the exhibit and fans can also check out all these Guardians of the Galaxy film costumes.

Shield prop from 2014's Captain America: Winter Soldier

This prop claimed to be Captain America's shield from Winter Soldier, even though the colour and finish appeared different from the usual red, white and blue.

from 2013's Thor: The Dark World

The horned-helmet worn by Tom Hiddleston as 'Loki' and 'Thor's' hammer Mjolnir was also on display from the second solo big screen outing for the God of Thunder.

The fake Infinity Gauntlet glimpsed in 'Odin's' vault on Asgard in the first Thor movie was also on display.

Mark II helmet from 2008's Iron Man

And bringing things full circle, this Mark II helmet from 2008's Iron Man which really started it all for the MCU was a part of the exhibition.

Iron Man 3 Hall of Armour...

Iron Man 3 opens today in the U.S. so I couldn't resist sharing all eight of these spectacular suits from the Marvel movie in all their glory.

First up is Tony Stark's brand spanking new armour from his third solo big screen outing, which has far more gold than red.

Next in descending order is his Mark VII suit from Marvel's The Avengers movie, where he teamed up with Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye and Black Widow to defeat Loki's invading alien army.

The Mark VI with its controversial triangular chest plate first appeared in the Iron Man 2 movie, and then it was destroyed at the start of The Avengers when Iron Man battled Thor.

My personal favourite is the supercool briefcase suit that featured in Iron Man 2 on the racetrack in Monaco.

All these armours were photographed on display at the temporary Stark Industries Tech exhibit at Disney's Tomorrowland Innoventions attraction on April 17, 2013, to help promote the armoured Avenger's third solo movie.

Meanwhile the Mark II and III designs both featured in the original 2008 Iron Man movie that started it all.

And who doesn't like the clunky classic looking Mark I armour that Tony and fellow prisoner 'Yinsen' build to help keep the shrapnel from reaching his heart and to escape their terrorist captors in his debut origin movie.

Iron Man Mark VII suit featured in The Avengers on display...

In Marvel's The Avengers 'Tony Stark' starts the film in his Mark VI armour from Iron Man 2, but when he is thrown from Stark Tower by 'Loki' he summons his new Mark VII suit to save himself and battle the invading Chitauri aliens.

This seventh iteration of the armoured Avenger's suit was photographed on display at Disney's Tomorrowland Innoventions attraction which is temporarily housing a mini Stark Expo exhibit to help promote the release of Iron Man 3.

This Mark VII suit which featured in The Avengers was snapped on April 17, 2103, alongside Iron Man's Mark I-VI armours and his new Mark 42 suit from Iron Man 3.

Iron Man Mark VI suit on display...

Another day and another Iron Man suit to admire up close. This Mark VI version with the triangular chest plate design was featured heavily in the armoured Avenger's second solo outing in 2010.

This high-tech suit and the others beside it are from Tony Stark's Malibu mansion set in Iron Man 3 and have been reproduced at Disney's Tomorrowland Innoventions attraction temporarily to promote the release of the new movie.
