The Planet of the Apes film franchise reboot is back with another sequel this summer, as the evolved chimpanzee 'Caesar' and his apes are at war with humans after the death of his wife and son, pitted against Woody Harrelson's 'Colonel McCullough' in an epic battle for the future of the Earth.

This summer Sofia Coppola writes and directs a new cinematic adaptation of Thomas P. Cullinan's 1966 book, A Painted Devil, and this version of The Beguiled is from the women's perspective compared to the 1971 film which starred Clint Eastwood. The 2017 movie stars Nicole Kidman, Kirsten Dunst and Elle Fanning sheltered from the outside world at a girls' school in Virginia during the U.S. Civil War when Colin Farrell's wounded mercenary soldier is taken in, filling the house with sexual tensions and rivalry.

In The Book of Henry, Naomi Watts plays a waitressing single mother of two kids, one a genius named 'Henry' (played by Jaeden Lieberher), who discovers that his girl crush neighbour is threatened by her stepfather. To keep her safe from harm he comes up with a rescue plan and writes it down in a book, which his mother finds and decides she'll help her son and his friend.
