In A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, a troubled and jaded journalist played by Matthew Rhys is assigned the task of contributing to an article on iconic heroes for Esquire magazine. He is assigned beloved children's TV show host, Fred Rogers (Tom Hanks), host of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood (which ran from 1968 to 2001), and wonders if the hand puppet-wielding 'saint' is for real, but begins to change his perspective on life after spending time with him. The film is based on Tom Junod's "Can You Say... Hero?" article published in Esquire in 1998.

This wonderful movie exhibit of Tom Hanks 'Mister Rogers' costume and his hand puppets from the movie were photographed on display at ArcLight Hollywood cinema on November 22, 2019.

Arjun Bhasin was Costume Designer on the biographical film directed by Marielle Heller.

Tom Hanks fans can also take a took at his movie costume from Bridge of Spies, his Apollo 13 movie costumes, his tuxedo from Charlie Wilson's War, his movie costume from The Post, and his Saving Mr. Banks film costume on display.

Apparently Costume Designer Arjun Bhasin sourced a knitter in New York to replicate Fred Rogers iconic cardigans, knowing that his mother often hand-knit his sweaters. This particular exhibit also features a tie loaned to the film by Fred's wife, Joanne Rogers.

Evil Queen, Cruella de Vil, Cinderella and Hook costumes from Once Upon a Time on display...

At this year's Disney D23 Expo in Anaheim, California on August 23, 2019, you could find a magical collection of screen-worn costumes designed by Eduardo Castro from ABC's Once Upon a Time fairytale drama as part of the Walt Disney Archives Heroes & Villains costume exhibit. The fantasy series ran for seven seasons from October 2011 to May 2018 and featured iconic fairytale, folklore and literary characters from the 'Enchanted Forest' (and beyond) who had been cursed by an 'Evil Queen' and no longer knew who they really were, living in the fictional seaside town of 'Storybrooke', Maine, until over time they discovered the truth and their histories were revealed.

In the series Lana Parrilla plays the mayor of Storybrooke, 'Regina Mills', and wears this costume as the Evil Queen in the magical world.

Apparently the costume brocade material was supposed to dyed black but came out a rose color, which was then covered in black netting to create its unique look, but still looks more than fit for an Evil Queen.
