Miss Piggy and her fellow Jim Henson felt creations, The Muppets, returned in style to cinemas in a big way in 2011. To mark the release of the movie, the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood had an exclusive collection of the porcine muppet's fashionable costumes on display for cinema goers and fans to see.

This fabulous fuchsia dress and ostrich feather boa was worn by Miss Piggy for her singing duet with Amy Adams called 'Me Party'.

In the first week of the New Year I finally made it to the El Capitan in Hollywood for a trip down memory lane to watch Disney's The Muppets movie.

In addition to the nostalgia, a sing-along with Kermit and Miss Piggy themselves before the film and a fabulous collection of Miss Piggy's couture featured in the movie on display (more on those at a later date), the El Capitan had recreated two of the sets from The Muppets, Miss Piggy's Dressing Room and Kermit the Frog's Office.

You've really got to hand it to the Disney theatre, they certainly love to give you value for money and a fantastic movie going experience.
