Screen-worn costumes from Solo: A Star Wars Story on display...

In last year's Solo: A Star Wars Story we got to learn some of the charming smuggler's history and get to learn how a young 'Han Solo' (played by Alden Ehrenreich) met his pal and future co-pilot 'Chewbacca' and the flamboyant gambler 'Lando Calrissian' (Donald Glover). Ron Howard's origin story also shed light on the seedy side of the Star Wars universe, joining hijackers like Thandie Newton's 'Val', competing with space pirates like 'Anfys Nest' (Erin Kellyman) and facing the Crimson Dawn crime syndicate and its agent 'Dryden Vos' (Paul Bettany).

This assortment of sci-fi costumes from a galaxy far, far away were photographed at Downtown L.A.'s FIDM Museum on February 5, 2019 and were designed by David Crossman and Glyn Dillon.

Qi'ra, Han and Lando costumes from Solo: A Star Wars Story on display...

In Ron Howard's Solo: A Star Wars Story we get to the origin of smuggling rogue 'Han Solo' (his younger self played by Alden Ehrenreich) and how his formative years and the people he met shaped his life, like his first love on Corellia,'Qi'ra' (Emilia Clarke), and the charming young pilot and smuggler 'Lando Calrissian' (Donald Glover).

A fellow orphan left behind on Corellia when Han escapes, the resourceful Qi'ra finds her way off planet and improves her status by working for, or becoming indebted to, Crimson Dawn crime syndicate boss 'Dryden Vos'.

This look she sports consists of a fitted pale suede jacket, silk blouse, cotton trousers, leather belt and black leather boots.

Escaping his street urchin life on Corellia, a young Han enlists in the Imperial Navy as a flight cadet, but finds himself drawn to the world of law-benders, thieves and scoundrels starting with the heist crew led by 'Tobias Beckett'.

This younger take Han Solo's iconic costume consists of a cropped suede jacket, cotton shirt, wool trousers with printed Corellian stripe and black leather boots.

Smooth, sophisticated and slightly flamboyant, 'Lando Calrissian' is captain of the Millennium Falcon and notorious gambler with a penchant for cheating at sabacc.

Th charming gambler's look is comprised of a sand washed silk shirt with black facings, printed silk scarf, black wool trousers, black leather boots and black wool cape with leather collar and shot silk lining.

This fun exhibit also includes several of his other capes hanging in the background, made from various wools, silks and faux furs.

Dryden Vos and Enfys Nest costumes from Solo: A Star Wars Story...

In the 'Han Solo' origin story we discover how the charming smuggler met 'Chewbacca' and 'Lando Calrissian' and won the Millennium Falcon, plus also get a glimpse of the seedy underworld of the galaxy in the form of crime syndicates like Crimson Dawn and its public face 'Dryden Vos' (played by Paul Bettany) and space pirates like 'Enfys Nest' (Erin Kellyman).

He may be a crime lord, but Dryden Vos also likes his luxury and Paul Bettany's villainous costume is comprised of a fine wool jacket and trousers, blended wool and silk cape, black leather boots and a black silk neck stock with tie pin detail.

Enfys Nest is a rival of 'Tobias Beckett's' ragtag crew of thieves and smugglers than Han hooks up with, but this marauder and leader of the Cloud-Riders swoop gang hides a secret beneath the alien armour, she's a teenage human freckled female and member of the Rebel Alliance.

Enfys Nest's look comprises an oilskin all-in-one suit, with chest rig and tech, partial armour, wool and buffalo cape, a skull helmet with blades and inscriptions and she wields an Electroripper staff.
