In Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Evangeline Lilly's 'Hope van Dyne' aka 'Wasp' chooses to don her super-suit and follow her scientist parents, the original 'Ant-Man' and 'Wasp', when they are sucked down into the Quantum Realm by a hijacked experimental signal device. Separated from her partner-in-crime-fighting 'Scott Lang' and his daughter 'Cassie', she works with 'Janet van Dyne' and 'Hank Pym' to be reunited with them and return to the Earth. She also continues to press her mother on her time spent stranded in the subatomic Quantum Realm and learn more about why she fears this time-traveling tyrant, 'Kang the Conqueror'.

Hope van Dyne continues to embrace her corporate, humanitarian, celebrity and superhero roles and sports a newly designed super-suit in this MCU sequel.

The original Ant-Man and the Wasp join in on the subatomic adventures in the latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as 'Janet Van Dyne' (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Hank Pym' (Michael Douglas) are sucked down into the Quantum Realm in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. In the film we learn some of what Janet was up to when she was trapped in the microscopic dimension beyond time and space and who she met, the exiled time-traveling tyrant 'Kang the Conqueror'.

In the movie we discover Janet met a stranger who crashed landed into the Quantum Realm when she was stranded there after sacrificing herself to stop missile on a mission with the Ant-Man. When the superhero and scientist helps repair his time-ship, she learns through his neural link with the vehicle his true violent personality and vows to do anything to stop him escaping the Quantum Realm, even if that means remaining trapped there herself.

When she's transported to the Quantum Realm with her husband and daughter 'Hope' (the current Wasp), she contacts her former allies and friends to provide disguises and transport, plus help get them home before Kang discovers they are there.

Hank Pym is the inventor of Pym Particles, which allows people and objects to shrink and grow bigger, plus he discovered how to communicate with ants, including those accidentally sucked down into the Quantum Realm with him and Janet.

In Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania the size-changing superhero and his family and friends are sucked down into the Quantum Realm where they meet a collective of displaced freedom fighters battling against the tyrannical time-traveller 'Kang the Conqueror'. One of those subatomic rebels is a telepath called 'Quaz', played by William Jackson Harper, who uses his mind-reading powers to establish whether 'Scott Lang' and his daughter 'Cassie' are friends or foes.

In Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania the teenage daughter of the size-changing superhero, 'Cassie Lang' (played by Kathryn Newton), builds a device to send a signal down into the Quantum Realm. Inadvertently she, her father and their friends are sucked down into the microscopic dimension beyond time and space. In addition to having a brilliant mind Cassie has also been getting into trouble, even getting arrested, helping vulnerable people in need. Down in the Quantum Realm, wearing her own Pym Particle-powered super-suit she and her father help a band of freedom fighters take on the tyrannical 'Kang the Conqueror'.
