In Disney's 2007 romantic comedy Enchanted, Amy Adams plays a cartoon princess named 'Giselle' who is transported to the real world New York City and finds her true love whilst singing with the animals and making dresses out of curtains. Susan Sarandon plays the evil 'Queen Narissa' who wants her out of the way, whilst James Marsden plays the cartoon 'Prince Edward' who follows her into the live-action world of Manhattan.

This duo of fairytale fantasy costumes worn by Amy Adams and Susan Sarandon were photographed on display on a revolving platform at Disney's D23 Expo in Anaheim, California on August 23, 2019.
Mona May is Costume Designer on this film directed by Kevin Lima which playfully pokes fun at traditional Disney fairytale stories.
Amy Adams gown evokes that classic Disney fairytale princess and you can also see Giselle's curtain dress on display previously.
Meanwhile as Queen Narissa can transform into a giant dragon, her costume looks like it's made of scales, whilst you can also check out her cloaked Old Hag costume disguise.

James Marsden's Prince Edward exists in both the animated and real world and as most animated characters never change their costumes, the costume designer made him look like an exaggerated cartoon character running around New York City with his oversized shoulders.
