When I heard that Iron Man's new suit of armour would be on display at Disneyland in Anaheim I just knew I had to go and see it for myself. To help promote Iron Man 3 there's a special temporary Stark Industries presents Iron Man Tech exhibit within the Innoventions attraction in Tomorrowland which features the Hall of Armour set from Tony Stark's Malibu mansion in the new movie.

In this third solo outing for the armoured Avenger he faces off against his arch-nemesis, 'The Mandarin', with a plot which incorporates the six issue 'Extremis' comic book storyline which left Tony Stark and his armour changed forever.I make no apologies for the amount of photographs you're about to see, as I wanted to present the cool armour from all sides so you could appreciate the fantastic detail of the original Avenger's upgraded red and gold suit.
In addition to this full-size Iron Man 3 suit they also had these damaged armor pieces from the movie, no doubt worn by Robert Downey Jr., next to a game simulator where you can virtually 'suit up' as Iron Man with the assistance of the onboard artificial intelligence J.A.R.V.I.S.

If you're a fan, be sure to also check out Iron Man's armour and Tony Stark's car from the first movie, plus his Stark Formula 1 race car from Iron Man 2 on display.Keep your eyes peeled in the days to come for more detailed photos of all seven of the other Iron Man suits, Mark I-VII, on display in Tony Stark's Hall of Armour.

ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. Nice to know there are people out there that think these costumes and props are as cool as I do!
ReplyDeleteI heard this was at Disney and still did not drag myself over there, kicking myself now. I guess I didn't know it was this cool. And I have an annual passport, no excuse, argh. Oh well, next time I will understand how cool when they say they've put something on display.
