This Summer's comic book movie Suicide Squad will unite some of the DC Universe's most ruthless mercenaries, criminals and killers all on one team. Will Smith will play top marksman 'Deadshot' aka 'Floyd Lawton' and here's a look at his heavily-armoured big screen costume on display at the Warner Bros. Studios VIP Tour Museum on June 9, 2016.

In the film Deadshot is one of the villains recruited by 'Amanda Waller' (Viola Davis) and the covert government agency A.R.G.U.S. to execute dangerous missions in return for shorter prison sentences.

I tend to find the DC Cinematic Universe to be so bleak compared to Marvel's movies, but I actually really enjoy the DC TV shows like Supergirl, The Flash and Arrow as they at least have some levity to them. I also think its odd that we've already seen the Suicide Squad concept on Arrow with Deadshot played by Michael Rowe, so I hope this big screen adaptation can bring something new, humorous and exciting to the genre.

You know I really struggled with posting these images given the recent shooting tragedy in Orlando and the ongoing gun violence in America, but in my mind this is pure escapist comic book movie fantasy and has to be treated as such. I hope you agree.
