Scarlet Scarab and Arthur Harrow costumes from Moon Knight on display...

Marvel Studios Moon Knight television series sees ancient Egyptian gods at war with each other in the shadows through their avatars and disciples. Oscar Isaac plays the moon good Khonshu's brutal warrior of the night and fist of vengeance, Moon Knight, whilst Ethan Hawke plays 'Arthur Harrow', a religious zealot, cult leader and follower of the Egyptian goddess of judgement, Ammit

In the MCU show May Calamaway plays 'Layla El-Faouly', an Egyptian archeologist and adventure, who is also the wife of one of Moon Knight's alter egos, 'Marc Spector'. She helps Marc (and his other alter 'Steven Grant') track down the tomb of Ammit in the Egyptian desert before Harrow can resurrect the goddess.

Arthur Harrow was Khonshu's avatar before Marc Spector, and now as a follower of Ammit he uses his crocodile-headed cane to exact justice and judgement based on future crimes. To show his devotion to the goddess he fills his sandals with broken pieces of glass as an act of self punishment.

Oscar Isaac's screen-worn costumes from Moon Knight on display...

In March this year Marvel Studios brought Moon Knight from the comic book page to small screen in the original Disney+ series. Oscar Isaac starred as the multiple personalitied-superhero and vengeful "Fist" of the Egyptian moon god 'Khonshu', defender of those who travel at night. Created by writer Doug Moench and artist Don Perlin, in the live-action television series we discover that our hero has Dissociative Identity Disorder, with alters known as 'Marc Spector', 'Steven Grant' and 'Jake Lockley', who are drawn into a mystery involving Egyptian gods.

Meanwhile Steven Grant is a mild-mannered British museum gift shop employee who wears a tailored suit with mask and becomes 'Mr. Knight' when he becomes the avatar of Khonshu, misunderstanding what it means to "suit up".

I love these costumes with their references to mummy bandages, moon sigils, Egyptian motifs and hieroglyphics incorporated into the looks.

Fans of the actor can also check out his Poe Dameron costume from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker on display.
