In director Mimi Leder's legal biopic, On the Basis of Sex, Felicity Jones plays a young Ruth Bader Ginsburg early in in her Law School life and teaching career post graduation in 1960s and 1970s America. The film follows an early tax law case which RBG and her husband 'Martin' (Armie Hammer) take on, which paves the way to a groundbreaking gender equality ruling and cements her place as a formidable lawyer and future U.S. Supreme Court Justice.

If you missed the fantastic RBG documentary by Betsy West and Julie Cohen earlier this year, then maybe you'd like to watch the dramatisation of 'Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's' life and achievements instead, directed by Mimi Leder and starring Felicity Jones as the iconic U.S. Supreme Court Justice. The biographical legal drama follows the young female lawyer's battle, with the support of her husband (played by Armie Hammer), to bring a groundbreaking case of gender discrimination before the courts in her fight for women's equality in the 1970s.

These screen-worn costumes from the movie, from when she first attended Harvard in the late 1950s and later in her professorial and legal career in the 1970s, were designed by Isis Mussenden and photographed on display at ArcLight Hollywood cinema on December 15, 2018.
