The French Dispatch Exhibition of sets, models, costumes in props in London - Part 4...

The French Dispatch of the Liberty, Kansas Evening Sun is the latest film from Wes Anderson and features four distinct stories and a stunning ensemble cast. The anthology film (inspired by The New Yorker magazine) received its own dedicated month-long exhibition at the 180 Studios on the Strand in London to promote and celebrate the movie's theatrical release. These costumes, models, set pieces and props are featured in 'The Private Dining Room of the Police Commissioner' story.

I visited this extensive and immersive exhibition on October 25 (and it runs until November 14, 2021), and now in hindsight it may have been better to see the film first to appreciate all the finer details of what was on display.

Wes Anderson's quirky new anthology film, The French Dispatch, features four stories including 'Revisions to a Manifesto' which sees journalist 'Lucinda Krementz' (Frances McDormand) reporting on student revolutionaries (including those played by Timothée Chalamet and Lyna Khoudri) in the town of Ennui-sur-Blasé. The movie has a temporary, dedicated month-long exhibition at 180 Studios on the Strand in London to celebrate the theatrical release of the film featuring screen-used costumes, props, set pieces and miniature models.
