Halloween may be over for this year, but the frights keep coming with this screen-worn costume from 1991's The Silence of the Lambs. Director Jonathan Demme adapts Thomas Harris's 1988 novel of the same name for the big screen and the psychological horror thriller sees Jodie Foster star as a young FBI trainee named 'Clarice Starling' who is hunting the 'Buffalo Bill' serial killer. In order to catch the killer, who likes to skin his female victims, Starling seeks the advice of Anthony Hopkins 'Dr. Hannibal Lecter', a brilliant psychiatrist and cannibalistic serial killer himself, who is imprisoned at the Baltimore State Hospital for the Criminally Insane. The film garnered seven Academy Award nominations and scored five Oscar wins, including for Best Picture, Best Directing, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Actor and Actress in a Leading Role.
