In the 2005 remake of Mel Brooks satirical dark musical-comedy, The Producers, Nathan Lane plays the part of 'Max Bialystock', a down-on-his-luck producer who after yet another Broadway flop, decides to team up with a timid accountant in a get-rich-quick scheme to put on the world's worst show, 'Springtime for Hitler'.

This pinstripe suit worn by the actor in the film, which is also based on the 2001 Broadway musical adaptation of the original 1968 film, was photographed together with some Playbill props from the movie on display at Universal Studios Hollywood's archive exhibit on January 20, 2015.William Ivey Long was Costume Designer on this movie set in New York in 1959.
