In Sam Mendes Oscar-nominated 1917 movie, two young British privates during World War I are tasked with the deadly mission to hand deliver a message to the Allied troops deep into German enemy territory. George MacKay's 'Lance Corporal Schofield' and Dean-Charles Chapman's 'Lance Corporal Blake' must race against time and seemingly impossible odds to stop 1,600 soldiers from walking into a trap, including one of their brothers.

These WWI solider uniforms were photographed on display at Downtown L.A.'s FIDM Museum & Galleries on February 4, 2020.Jacqueline Durran and David Crossman were Costume Designers on the First World War feature film and these movie costumes were previously exhibited at ArcLight Hollywood cinema during the movie's theatrical release (although it's nice to see the uniforms out of reflective display cases).
