If you're housebound and looking for something to watch to lift your spirits, then maybe you should check out Last Christmas, the feel-good movie masquerading as a romantic comedy. Emilia Clarke stars as 'Kate', a troubled young woman who has burned through the goodwill of her friends after surviving a heart transplant and works in a dead-end job as an elf at an all-year Christmas store in London's Covent Garden. Michelle Yeoh owns the Christmas shop and calls herself 'Santa', whilst Henry Golding plays 'Tom', a mysterious man who Kate meets outside her workplace who encourages her to adopt a new outlook on life. The festive film is based on the song of the same name by George Michael when he was in British pop duo Wham!.
