Last year Angelina Jolie directed the unbelievable true story of enlisted Olympian Louis Zamperini, who after surviving a plane crash in World War II spent 47 days in a raft with two fellow crewmen, only to be caught by the Japanese navy and tortured in a prisoner-of-war camp.
