Wes Anderson's 2021 movie, The French Dispatch, is about a collection of stories published in the magazine of the same name, an outpost of an American newspaper in a fictional twentieth century French city. One of those stories focuses on an incarnated murderer and artist, 'Moses Rosenthaler' (Benicio del Toro), who paints a nude portrait of his prison officer 'Simone' (Léa Seydoux) and becomes an art world sensation. Tilda Swinton plays a journalist at The French Dispatch, 'J.K.L. Berensen', who delivers a lecture about the career of the unexpected artist.

This trio of costumes from the film were photographed on display at the FIDM Museum in Downtown L.A. on March 22, 2022.
Milena Canonero is Costume Designer on the movie and she is also known for her Oscar-winning costumes from The Grand Budapest Hotel.
I was fortunate to visit a pop-up temporary exhibition in London for the movie back in October 2021 during the film's UK theatrical release, where there was an extensive assortment of other movie costumes, props, models and sets from The French Dispatch on display, so be sure to check all those out.
