In 2021's The Tragedy of Macbeth, Oscar nominee Denzel Washington starred as the doomed Scottish Lord, Thane of Glamis, convinced by three witches he will be King of Scotland. Frances McDormand plays his ambitious wife 'Lady Macbeth', who will do anything to support his plans of seizing power. Alex Hassell is 'Ross', a loyal Scottish noble and cousin to 'Lady Macduff', in this tale of murder, madness, cunning and ambition.
