In Bryan Singer's Queen biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, Rami Malek plays the iconic lead singer 'Freddie Mercury' in a film which chronicles the British rock band's origins, his later pursuit of a solo career, his AIDS diagnosis and their legendary performance at Live AID concert on 13 July 1985.

These iconic stage costumes from the movie were photographed on display in the foyer of the ArcLight Hollywood cinema on October 11, 2018.
Julian Day was Costume Designer on the movie biopic tasked with recreating some of Freddie's flamboyant concert looks including this regal costume and a replica of the heavy white satin pleated look originally created by English fashion designer Zandra Rhodes for the Queen frontman.
No stranger to recreating iconic looks, Julian Day also worked on the costumes for the 2013 Princess Diana movie.
