Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law's costumes from Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows on display...

In Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law reprise their roles as the infamous Baker Street Detective and his faithful sidekick, 'Dr. Watson', to battle Sherlock's arch-nemesis, 'Professor Moriarty'.

These costumes worn by the movie sequel's two leading men were photographed on display at ArcLight Hollywood cinema in L.A. on December 13, 2011.

Jenny Beavan also returns as Costume Designer for this second Sherlock Holmes movie directed by Guy Ritchie, and you can also see her costumes in The King's Speech (for which she was nominated for an Oscar).

Robert Downey Jr. has certainly been given quite a hip and trendy look this movie to fit his eccentric portrayal of the British crime investigator.

Jude Law's tweed suit, coat and scarf were also on display, but it's a shame that his bowler hat was absent from the costume exhibit as it would have helped complete the look of Dr. Watson.

  1. If you happen to have a chance, could you go back and take a high res picture of the last few inches of the scarf. Enough that we could see each color section and the tassels in good detail. Also in particular it it looks like it's folded over or in a tube shape.
