In Hulu's satirical 18th century period drama, The Great, Elle Fanning portrays the infamous Empress of Russia as she rises from 'Catherine the Nothing' to 'Catherine the Great'. Loosely based on historical fact, the series sees the young Catherine marry Emperor Peter III (Nicholas Hoult) and plot to kill her depraved and dangerous husband.

Costume Designer Sharon Long won the Emmy for Outstanding Period Costumes, along with Assistant Costume Designers Anna Cavaliere and Bobbie Edwards and Costume Supervisor Viveene Campbell.
This beautiful duo of ornate costumes from the sophomore season were photographed on display at Downtown L.A.'s FIDM Museum on August 24, 2022 (where they'll be exhibited until November 5, 2022).
Fans of the actress can also see her Super 8 movie costume, her costumes from The Beguiled and her costumes from the Maleficent movies on display in years past.
