In Peacock's original limited series, Angelyne, Emmy Rossum stars as the titular mysterious blonde bombshell know for gracing L.A.'s billboards in the mid-1980s. The mini-series is loosely based on The Hollywood Reporter journalist Jeff Glaser's quest in the 2010s to uncover the true identity and life story of the elusive local pink Corvette-driving celebrity, hampered by her secrecy and conflicting accounts from herself and people who knew her.
