In Fox Television's hip-hop drama Empire, Terrence Howard stars a music mogul 'Lucious Lyon' who discovers his has ALS and has to decide who from his three sons should be the successor of his successful record label when he dies. Taraji P. Henson plays his fiery ex-wife, 'Cookie Lyon', who after being released from prison wants to reclaim what she feels is rightfully hers. Obviously family and music industry drama ensues.

These costumes from the hit show's sophomore season were designed by Paolo Nieddu, with costume design assistance from Jennifer Salim and costume supervision by Mary Lane.

This costume exhibit was presented alongside other notable TV show wardrobes at the FIDM Museum in Downtown L.A. on August 9, 2016.
