On my most recent visit to Universal Studios Hollywood's costume and props archive exhibit, the costume that really caught my magpie eye, was this elegant and elaborate ensemble worn by Léa Seydoux as 'Isabelle of Angoulême' in Ridley Scott's 2010 cinematic version of Robin Hood.

This Medieval regal fur robe and gown were photographed, together with an art department model ship from the movie, on display at the NBC Universal Experience attraction on January 23, 2014.

In the film, actress Léa Seydoux plays the French King's niece who marries England's King John after he annuls his first marriage to sire an heir and gain claim to the Castilian throne. Isabella of Angoulême was the young Queen consort of England and second wife to King John from 1200 to his death in 1216. This outfit worn by the French actress is described as 'The King is dead' change.

Janty Yates was Costume Designer on Robin Hood, and if you like this exquisite costume, be sure to also check out Cate Blanchett's Lady Marion costume and Russell Crowe's Crusader Knight costume from Robin Hood previously seen on display.

In addition to the fabulous detailed golden costume, they also had this art department production model ship from the Middle Ages as part of the movie exhibit.
