The sequel to Marvel's Avengers is about to explode onto the big screen and obliterate box office records no doubt, and to get cinema goers excited for Avengers: Age of Ultron ArcLight Hollywood cinema had these original 'Hawkeye' and 'Captain America' movie costumes and a production model of 'Iron Man's Hulkbuster' armour from the film on display for passersby to gawk at (and if they're like me, lust over).

The superheroic costumes in Avengers: Age of Ultron were designed and updated by Alexandra Byrne, who was also responsible for the Guardians of the Galaxy movie costumes and won an Oscar for her costumes on Elizabeth: The Golden Age.
I believe that the Iron Man Hulkbuster armour model was created by Legacy Effects (inspired by the original Hulkbuster design by Kevin Hopgood from the Iron Man comics), who produce speciality costumes and dimensional props and have worked on many previous Marvel movies, like the suits of armour in Iron Man 3.

It's cool to see Captain America's costume tweaked again for this sequel and it's nice to see the Avengers logo has replaced the S.H.I.E..L.D. insignia on his shoulders, possibly suggesting that they are back in more of an official team capacity in this film.
Last year Cap's second solo movie grossed over $714 million at the box office globally and the Avengers broke all kinds of records back in 2012 with a worldwide takings to date of $1.5 billion, so it's going to be interesting to see just how much this new film can achieve when the Avengers assemble once more.

Not seen since the first Avengers movie and the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D., I'm really looking forward to seeing what Hawkeye's been up to, as Jeremy Renner reprises his role as 'Clint Barton', the infamous archer. For this sequel his outfit has nods to his signature carnival tunic costume from the comic books with the longer overcoat look, and I'll be interested to see how it appears and moves on the big screen.

Far less photos for Hawkeye's costume I'm afraid, but that's because it's always hard to photograph these darker costumes.
