In Thunderbolts* Sebastian Stan's long-lived 'Bucky Barnes' aka the 'Winter Soldier' has become a congressman for Brooklyn and attends an impeachment hearing for CIA director 'Valentina Allegra de Fontaine' and her involvement in shadowy work with the O.X.E. Group and the 'Sentry' Superhuman Project'.When de Fontaine tries to wipe out her covert operatives, 'Yelena Belova', U.S. Agent', 'Ghost' and 'Taskmaster', the Winter Soldier's world clashes with this oddball group of deadly misfits following a tip-off from her assistant 'Mel' (that the new congressman has been trying to convince to be an informant), and these Thunderbolts* must work together to stop the rogue agency director and her dangerous superhuman experiment.
