The fourth season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel found the Upper West Side 1960s housewife-turned-standup comedian down on her luck after being fired as the opening act for singer 'Shy Baldwin' after outing him on stage. Licking her wounds, Rachel Brosnahan's Manhattan comedian finds a new standup gig at a burlesque strip club called The Wolford befriending the dancers, whilst her mother 'Rose Weissman' explores her matchmaking career.
This collection of retro costumes were photographed on display at Downtown L.A.'s FIDM Museum on August 24, 2022 as part of this year's Art of Costume Design in Television exhibition.
The 'Cotton Ball' dancer costume would especially make for a fun Halloween costume this year, don't you think.
