In honour of Dame Helen Mirren's birthday, enjoy her 'Mother Ginger' costume and more from Disney's 2018 movie, The Nutcracker and the Four Realms on display. The fantasy film is inspired by E. T. A. Hoffman's 1816 story, The Nutcracker and the Mouse King and sees Mackenzie Foy's 'Clara' travel to lands of flowers, snowflakes, sweets and amusements (which is the Fourth Realm), to retrieve a magical key left to her by her late mother. On her quest she meets Keira Knightley's sweet regent 'Sugar Plum Fairy' and Helen Mirren's amusement regent Mother Ginger, but she soon discovers that her friends and enemies may not be who they appear to be.
