This weekend the first live-action Star Wars television show was in the spotlight at Disney's D23 Expo with these fantastic costumes from The Mandalorian on display at the Anaheim Convention Center on Friday August 23, 2019, soon to be seen on the small screen on the new subscription streaming platform Disney+. The new character certainly has the look of fan-favourite bounty hunter 'Boba Fett' and in played by Pedro Pascal under the helmet.

Joseph A. Porro is Series Costume Designer on The Mandalorian, and he's no stranger to sci-fi having worked on The Orville, Stargate, Looper and Resident Evil: Extinction, to name but a few past projects.
Meanwhile fans of Pedro Pascal can also check out his costumes from Kingsman: The Golden Circle on display.

In addition to The Mandalorian who's a bounty hunter that prefers to work alone with his Amban Phase-Pulse Blaster (first seen in the Star Wars Holiday Special), the series also stars Gina Carano as 'Cara Dune'.
Apparently she's a former Galactic Empire Shock Trooper turned mercenary-for-hire, who fought with the Rebellion.
The Star Wars series is cloaked in secrecy at the moment, so I guess we'll just have to wait until November 12, 2019, to see this duo in action on the streaming service in a galaxy far, far away.
