Will Smith's Genie movie costume from Aladdin on display...

This May Disney's beloved 1992 animated musical classic Aladdin was brought to life on the big screen in live-action with Will Smith stepping into the blue-skin and slippers of the 'Genie', made famous by the voice talents of Robin Williams in the original. When the street urchin 'Aladdin' retrieves the Genie lamp from the Cave of Wonders he's granted three wishes by the larger-than-life magical creature who lives within it.

These elaborate costumes and props from Aladdin were photographed on display at Hollywood's El Capitan Theatre on June 3, 2019.

The Genie wears bracelets which keep him shackled to the lamp he's magically bound to and he wears this costume accompanying Aladdin when he transforms him into 'Prince Ali' and they make their big entrance at the city of Agrabah.

Michael Wilkinson was Costume Designer on this live-action adaptation directed by Guy Ritchie and you can see more of his work with these Tron: Legacy movie costumes, these Watchmen movie costumes, these Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice costumes, to name but a few.
