In Disney's live-action version of Aladdin based on the 1992 animated musical classic, Naomi Scott plays the beautiful and intelligent 'Princess Jasmine' who feels trapped by her royal life in Agrabah. In this retelling, the educated, strong and independent Jasmine wants to be the next Sultan and ruler of her people without having to marry a prince.

in Aladdin
These magical costumes and props were photographed on display at Hollywood's El Capitan Theatre on June 3, 2019.Michael Wilkinson was Costume Designer on the Disney live-action musical directed by Guy Ritchie and you can see more of his Aladdin movie costumes on display on this blog.
One thing to note, this mannequin exhibit implies that Jasmine shows more of her midriff than she actually does in the movie, and this outfit is far less revealing on the big screen. This look updates Jasmine's iconic turquoise crop top and harem pants with a flesh-coloured bodice and peacock feathers embroidered onto the pants.
