Last year I had the good fortune to see several costume exhibits feating Suicide Squad movie costumes, but at FIDM Museum L.A.'s 25th Art of Motion Picture Costume Design exhibition on February 8, 2017, I was finally able to see Karen Fukuhara's 'Katana' outfit up close and out from behind a reflective display case.

In the 2016 movie a team of killers, criminals, mercenaries and assassins are recruited to work for a covert Task Force X, aka the Suicide Squad, a team of operatives with unique skills suited for dealing with deadly missions and super-powered threats.
Karen Fukuhara plays 'Tatsu Yamashiro' aka 'Katana', who is an expert martial artist, swordswoman and wielder of the Soultaker blade, who mourning her husband volunteers to be part of the team and doesn't require a micro bomb implant to control her actions.
