This holiday season can Assassin's Creed beat the odds and be the blockbuster video game adaptation that breaks the mold and satisfies gaming fans and casual cinema goers at the same time. If the trailers are any indication the original film is set to be a visual spectacle and these lavish costumes on display at ArcLight Sherman Oaks cinema on December 12, 2016, are another indication that this may be a successful translation for the gaming franchise to the big screen.

Aguilar's assassin warrior garb has strong nods to Moorish influences from 15th century Spain and nomadic quality to his signature hooded look, and you can see many of his deadly weapons integrated into his costume, with throwing knives, daggers and bladed wrist gauntlets making for a killer ensemble.
Fans of Michael Fassbender can also enjoy these Macbeth movie costumes, these film costumes from The Counselor, his Magneto costume from X-Men: Apocalypse and these 2011 Jane Eyre film costumes.
