Director James Mangold's Bob Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown, chronicles four pivotal years in the music icon's life, from when the folk musician portrayed by Timothée Chalamet moves from Minnesota at age nineteen to New York City in 1961 to the 1965 Newport Folk Festival where he controversially chose to pay an electric over an acoustic guitar. The film also delves into his romantic love triangle with activist and artist 'Sylvie Russo' (Dylan's real life girlfriend Suze Rotolo's name was changed at his request), played by Elle Fanning, and folk singer Joan Baez (Monica Barbaro).
