The the new comedy-drama Late Night, Emma Thompson plays the pioneering and legendary late-night talk show host 'Katherine Newbury' who think she may lose her job after being accused of being a woman who hates women and suffering from bad ratings. In an attempt at affirmative action and diversity she hires Mindy Kaling's 'Molly' to join her all-male writers room hoping to revitalise her career and show.
