In the supernatural drama A Ghost Story written and directed by David Lowery, Casey Affleck plays a struggling musician and husband to Rooney Mara when he is killed in a car accident and awakens in the morgue covered in a white sheet with two eye holes, returning to his suburban home to reconnect with his living wife.
