The wonderful thing about the movie costume and prop exhibit at Universal Studios Hollywood is that it houses a wide variety of items from all film genres and from modern day blockbusters to cinematic classics.
Take for example this costume and prop display from the 1939 black and white movie, Tower of London.

In the film, the 15th Century Duke of Gloucester and future 'Richard III of England' (played by Basil Rathbone), aided by his executioner henchman 'Mord' (Boris Karloff), eliminated those ahead of him in succession to the throne, then occupied by his brother Edward IV of England.

This is the shirt worn by Basil Rathbone during the scene when 'Anne Neville's' arrest is imminent. It's amazing the shirt is so colourful and detailed considering the movie was filmed in black and white.
