About me

This blog is for movie enthusiasts, fans of film and costume design.

When I first saw original costumes and props up close, I realised how much time, energy and creativity goes into making these wonderful things that bring films to life.

Living in Hollywood I'm lucky enough to see in person these fantastic outfits, props, vehicles and models.

This blog is my chance to share those creations with the rest of the world who don't have the same opportunity, so enjoy and let me know what you think!

Unfortunately I don't own any of these costumes or props, so you can't buy, rent or loan any of the items featured in the exhibits I showcase on this blog.

On November 2, 2014 I'll be running my first New York Marathon to raise money for AIDS Project Los Angeles. These past four years I've been overwhelmed by the generosity of my friends, family and blog supporters who have helped me raise over $16,700 individually already.

Running the L.A. Marathon 2011 in torrential conditions
Last year T2: Team to End AIDS collectively raised over $182,000 by running the hottest L.A. Marathon in over a decade.

If anyone who visits Hollywood Movie Costumes and Props can show their support with a donation $5, $1 for every mile ($26.20), or even more for this worthy cause, every cent would be greatly appreciated.

I can also offer advertising space on my blogs in exchange for appropriate donations.
