Chilling Adventures of Sabrina TV costumes on display...

Netflix's supernatural horror series, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, is based on the darker Archie comic book series of the same name written (and developed for television) by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa with art by Robert Hack. In the series Kiernan Shipka plays the half-witch, half-human 'Sabrina Spellman', a teenager attending Baxter High and just starting her dark education in witchcraft, having to choose between her destiny and a normal life.

This trio of season one costumes from the Netflix series was photographed on display at Downtown L.A.'s FIDM Museum & Galleries on August 20, 2019.

Included in this selection of looks are Sabrina's red dress with Peter Pan lace collar, plus her mother's cream wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline and lace overlay that she wears to a birthday Halloween party and the same dress transformed by magic into black costume for for dark baptism.

Angus Strathie was Costume Designer with help from Assistant Costume Designer Kelli Dunsmore, and Costume Supervisors Kelly Allyn Gardner and Debbie Geaghan.

For more spellbinding looks, make sure you check out these other witch costumes from the big and small screen.

  1. Will there be an auction for Sabrina's dresses or for any of Prudence's dresses, jewelry, props from the set etc?

    1. Different studios/production companies approach things differently. Some have auctions to recoup costs, while other have finances and departments to archive their costumes & props

    2. Warner Brothers keeps warehouses for costumes. Unless an actor or the designer asks to keep it in their contract it goes into storage.
