By now, the majority of the world seems to have seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens, at least once, maybe twice, or in my case, now for a third time. If you loved this latest installment set in a galaxy far, far away, which is proving to be a record-breaking box office smash, then you'll love these original costumes on display at the El Capitan Theatre along Hollywood Boulevard on January 4, 2016.

Michael Kaplan was responsible for recreating the classic Star Wars Universe looks of the costumes in this movie, set 30 years after Return of the Jedi.Be sure to also check out these updated First Order Stormtrooper and Captain Phasma costumes on display at ArcLight Hollywood cinema, plus Rey and Finn's costumes from Star Wars: The Force Awakens on display at the Disney D23 Expo back in August 2015.

Hopefully by now you've watched the film yourself, but if not just as a warning - SPOILERS!
General Leia Organa costume worn by Carrie Fisher
in Star Wars: The Force Awakens
In Episode VII, Carrie Fisher is no longer a 'Princess', but is instead 'General Leia Organa' in charge of the Resistance, fighting against the insidious First Order. She wears this outfit when she sees 'Rey' off on her quest to find 'Luke Skywalker' near the end of the film, with the words - "May the Force be with you".This almost ceremonial costume comprises a sleeveless overrobe made of textured teal silk/linen with a star-shaped shaped yoke, with a blue teal slub silk underdress.
Han Solo costume worn by Harrison Ford
in Star Wars: The Force Awakens
In this new movie 'Han Solo' has returned to his smuggling ways with his Wookie best friend and co-pilot, 'Chewbecca', and Harrison Ford wears this classic-looking leather jacket, trousers and boots outfit evoking his iconic younger self. His new jacket is made from nubuck brown leather, with an ecru cotton nylon polyester shirt, dark brown cotton trousers, with brown leather belt, holster and boots.

If you cheered at the return of these classic characters on screen in The Force Awakens, then you also probably whooped with joy when the Millennium Falcon was unveiled on Jakku and took to the skies.
Millennium Falcon model from Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Despite being referred to as garbage, the Corellian light freighter can still outfly Tie Fighters and make tricky light speed jumps through forcefields.I'm not sure if this is a production model used in the making of the film, but it's still cool to see the detail of the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy, especially the new rectangular satellite dish on top.
Resistance X-Wing Fighter from Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Here's also a model of the updated X-Wing Fighters used by the Resistance and piloted by the likes of 'Poe Dameron' in the new film.
Kylo Ren's Crossguard Lightsaber
from Star Wars: The Force Awakens
As the villainous 'Kylo Ren' is the son of Han and Leia, it seems only fitting to share this 3D print (so I'm not sure if an original props or not) of his cool Crossguard Lightsaber here too.Stay tuned for more costumes and props from Star Wars: The Force Awakens in the days to come, plus be sure to check out the El Capitan Theatre exhibit yourself if you're able through February 7, 2016.
