Bob Mackie designed Alice Through the Looking Glass dress on display...

There have been many adaptations of Lewis Carroll's beloved literary character, from cartoon to big screen, including the 1966 TV movie Alice Through the Looking Glass.

This Queen of Hearts dress designed by the infamous Bob Mackie, well known for his costume work with entertainment icons Cher, Judy Garland, Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Liza Minnelli and on The Carol Burnett Show, was photographed at the NBC Universal Experience exhibit at Universal Studios Hollywood on April 26, 2012.

However having never seen it, I can't tell whether this dress was worn by 'Alice' played by Judi Rolin, or the Red Queen herself or one of her court. Does anyone know?

And if you're a fan of Lewis Carroll's creation, be sure to check out all these original costumes and props from Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland.
