In the psychological horror film,
Last Night in Soho, Thomasin McKenzie plays
'Eloise "Ellie" Turner, an aspiring fashion designer who loves the music and looks of the
Swinging Sixties. Moving from rural
Cornwall to study at the
London College of Fashion, one night she has a vivid dream where she is transported to the 1960s where she sees a young blonde woman named
'Sandie' (Anya Taylor-Joy) who is auditioning to be a singer at a nightclub. As
Ellie's dreams continue she discovers that
Sandie's life is not as glamorous and is more menacing than it at first seemed (she's being pimped out by the club manager), revealing far darker secrets that start to torment her modern day existence.
