Natalie Portman reprises her MCU role as astrophysicist and Thor's ex-girlfriend 'Dr. Jane Foster' in Thor: Love and Thunder, who is transformed by the shattered Mjölnir hammer into the Mighty Thor herself. Donning Asgardian armour, battling cancer and empowered by the enchantment of the hammer, she joins with 'Thor Odinson' (Chris Hemsworth) and 'King Valkyrie' (Tessa Thompson) of New Asgard to take on the threat to all reality from the vengeful 'Gorr the God Butcher' (Christian Bale).

Natalie Portman's Thor costume (inspired by writer Jason Aaron and artist Russell Dauterman's female Thor from Marvel Comics, complete with masked helmet) and Mjölnir hammer prop were photographed on display at Hollywood's El Capitan Theatre on June 11, 2022.

Mayes C. Rubeo is Costume Designer on director Taika Waititi's Thor sequel, and she also worked with him on these Thor: Ragnarok movie costumes and these Jojo Rabbit movie costumes.
